The Spirit of Alba Festival is just around the corner and we are incredibly excited to be releasing a limited edition, exclusive bottling, in honour of this dram-tastic event.
Working directly with Craig and Jim who run the Spirit of Alba shop in Kirkintilloch, this belter of a cask was picked to celebrate the 4th year of their very own whisky festival, the 3rd anniversary of the shop, and a whopping 8 years in the whisky retail business!
The eye-catching artwork on the label was lovingly painted by Craig himself and features a mix of various parts of Scotland’s famous scenery.
But what about the whisky?
Don’t fret, we are getting there!
Spirit of Alba 2023 Festival Bottling Tasting Notes
A fusion of head-banging oak and rebellious muscat grapes.
A mosh pit of flavours, it hits you with a punch of raw energy and a rebellious scent that sets the stage for an unforgettable experience.
A riot of fruits taking centre stage—juicy peaches stage-diving into your senses, apricots crowd-surfing on waves of vibrant tangerine euphoria, and a surge of tropical fruit crashing into your palate.

We caught up with Jim and Craig who said: “To be so involved in every part of this process was incredible for us and we couldn’t thank Iain from Fib Whisky enough for all his help.'
‘We have had our hand on every aspect of this bottle and that’s why we like to think it is a proper representation of us.'
‘I’m not biased but I quite simply wouldn’t have put our name on something that was inferior. I guess that’s the good bit about it being our bottle, and our website… I’m away to go make it our whisky of the month… NAY DECADE! Fill your boots, this won’t last long!”
There are only 168 of these so when they are gone, they are gone so grab yours now!
