Staoisha (Bunnahabhain) 9 Year Old // PX Brandy Finish // Permutations S1 // 5cl
A cask strength peated single malt from Bunnahabhain Distillery. Born on Islay, this whisky started it’s life in a 1st fill Jim Beam bourbon barrel, before being finished in a 50-year-old 1st fill PX Brandy cask. A wintery dram packed full of caramelised BBQ char.
- A subtly sweet dram, with an Islay peat core surrounded by sweeter caramels.
- Lightly charred toffee apples, with some salty sea air notes.
- A mediam long, crisp, salted caramel finish showcasing the brandy.
